Feeling down?
Bummed about what you’ve done today so far?
Anxious about something that happened or something that didn’t?
Wish you could throw the whole day away, go back to bed, get up, and start a new one?
Do it!
I heard an Olympic athlete on a podcast recently say that when she feels overwhelmed or disappointed about her day she sets a timer for 5-10 minutes, puts on her pajamas, gets under the covers, and when the tone of her alarm goes off she jumps out of bed, pumps her fists in the air, and shouts “New day!”
Whether or not you want to strike a victory pose or don your PJs or yell, just know that every moment can be a new moment to start again.
New day. You got this.
